Celebrate the Legend — Learn the Truth
To urban Texans, outlaws and gunslingers may seem like things of folklore. But for the rural town of Hico, they are part of its history, and the legend of Billy the Kid is part of its soul. The story goes that Hico is the final hometown and burial site of William Henry Roberts, alias Billy the Kid, “Brushy” Bill Roberts, Willam Henry McCarty, Henry A. McCarty and William H. Bonney.
The Billy the Kid Museum of Hico, Texas proudly presents this first annual Billy The Kid “Old West Festival” celebrating the Life and Times of Billy the Kid. It is sure to be a memorable event.
